In addition to the journalism course, we will now be offering a club option for those students who can't take the course due to scheduling conflicts, or who just want to try it out on a less committed level. The Journalism Club will meet once a week (day and time TBD) over Zoom. ALL NHS students--INCLUDING those in virtual academy--are invited to join!! Club members will produce content for The Omniscient, Northwood's award-winning student magazine, and will have the opportunity to attend online national and state conferences and events for high school journalists. If you're interested, contact Ms. Brinkley, Adviser, at ebrinkley@chatham.k12.nc.us, and she'll send you a link to our interest meeting next Tuesday, 1/19, at 3PM!

If you want to add personalization to your yearbook, such as your name, a monogram, and/or icons, you need to purchase your yearbook by Friday, January 29th. Congratulations to the Men's XC Team who finished as the Big-8 Conference Runner-Up with Malachi Levy, Colin Henry and Christian Glick earning All-Conference Honors. The Women's XC Team finished 3rd with Caroline Murrell and Tessa Yell earning All-Conference Honors. Both teams advance to the NCHSAA 3A Mideast Regionals next Saturday.
