Week 21 - January 29-February 2, 2018
English Language Arts
For the next several weeks we will be exploring nonfiction writing and its purpose. Specifically we will identify nonfiction text features and determine how they contribute to the main idea and details. Understanding these features and why they are used will help us navigate nonfiction text more easily.
Spelling:
Each of this week's spelling words end with the letters -nk, -nd, or -ng. Words that have these endings include: blink, stand and sang.
Math
Science
We will continue to study cloud types and the kind of weather usually seen with each type. We will identify and predict weather patterns, temperature, cloud coverage, and wind conditions based on data.
