Spring 2016 Online
I am looking forward to exploring the great doctrines of the Christian faith as a way to both form and articulate a biblical faith that speaks to the world today.
This course is packed with a variety of vantage points as we traverse the rich history of the Church. From the pages of the biblical text to today’s contemporary world, our focus will be to not only understand the central theological questions of the Christian faith, but also understand and articulate what they mean for each of us today.
As we engage in these discussions, my hope is that this course will provide a forum for each of you to ask and explore theological questions on a myriad of levels – academically, spiritually, and ethically.
For those of you who have taken an online course at William Jessup, you know that we will cover a lot of ground in a very short amount of time. If this is your first Jessup online course – get ready to hold on!
To get you started, please complete the Jessup Online Student Orientation. Next, download the course syllabus and take the time to read it carefully (note especially the topics and goals for each week as well as the assignments). Then tell us something about yourself in the Introductions forum. After you have completed these tasks, you're ready for Week 1!
If you have questions, please feel free to contact me.
