At Lincoln, we use Sign Up Genius to schedule our conferences and parents will have the option to conduct conferences in person at Lincoln, or via Zoom. PACKS OF LOVE: One of our Lincoln Girl Scout Troops is collecting donations for Packs of Love which is an organization that provides supplies to Ukrainian children impacted by the war. Please see the attached flyer for a list of items in need. Donation box will be in the lobby through Friday, October 21.
PTO MEETING: Please be aware that the date of our next meeting is now Tuesday, October 25. Please join us at 7:00pm in the Teacher's Lounge to stay connected to all the events we have planned for our school!
STAFF APPRECIATION CHAIR: We are in need of a parent or two to help plan our fall staff appreciation event that will occur during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Please email us at info.lincolnpto@gmail.com if you are able to assist.
NOVEMBER DINE N SHARE: We are excited to announce our next Dine N Share event on Monday, November 7 from 5-9pm at Chipotle! Thirty-three percent of your order will be donated back to the PTO. Please see the attached flyer for details.
DECEMBER FAMILY EVENT: The PTO is pleased to offer a special holiday event this year. We are partnering with Metropolis Performing Arts Center in Arlington Heights to offer a special block of tickets for D57 families and friends. The event will be during the Sunday, December 4 performance of the holiday classic - A Christmas Carol. See flyer for details and purchase tickets through THIS LINK by Friday, November 18.

MESSAGE FROM THE D57 EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The District 57 Education Foundation is a non-profit organization comprised of Mount Prospect community members whose mission is to raise money to fund grants in the areas of curriculum, wellness, and technology. Grant requests may be written and submitted by district teachers, staff, students, and parents. The grants enrich the educational experiences of all students, helping them to achieve at their highest potential. Funded grants allow teachers to have access to the resources they need to support teaching and learning at Westbrook, Lions Park, Fairview, and Lincoln schools. Over the years, the Foundation has funded computers, iPads, ELMO projectors, Smartboards, musical instruments, art supplies, fitness equipment, and supplemental reading material - all to enrich our children’s educational experiences.
We are excited to announce a NEW grant cycle, starting MONDAY OCTOBER 24th.

Grant requests are due by 12/2/2022 to the Ed Foundation at d57edfoundationgrants@gmail.com
Parent community members who are interested in submitting a grant request should contact the school principal to which the grant will benefit. Pre-register on the student's high school website under School Info>>Registration>>High School Pre-Registration Fall 2023.
Parents/Guardians should pre-register by October 20, 2022 for high school and choose the PSAT 8/9 test date.
