"What Good Looks Like"
Andrea - First Grade (Writing)
What comes first: the technology or the curriculum?
During lesson development, should we consider the curriculum and determine the best way to force-fit technology integration? Or is it more important to choose a technology tool that is engaging and user-friendly for students and then force-fit the curriculum?

SAMR: It's OK to be SAM!
SAMR Grade-Level Breakout
- Choose one project that your grade-level did last year. (Example: third grade wrote a summary of the first chapter in James and the Giant Peach)
- Come up with an activity that would meet the same objectives, but uses the iPads. Your new activity can be anywhere on the SAMR model, but try to go as high as you can! (Example: students used iMovie to create a news report about the first chapter in James and the Giant Peach)
*Remember: Technology is not meant to "add" more work It is meant to "change" old work.
