Red Ribbon Week Begins October 25th
Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that encourages children, families and communities to live healthy, happy, and drug-free lives. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery and strength. At Manor, we also focus on healthy choices. This year’s theme is “Drug-Free Looks Like Me!” To show our support for Red Ribbon Week and the Habits we practice each day, we have planned a week of themed dress October 25th through October 29th.
Monday, 10/25: Wear RED
Tuesday, 10/26: Wear your favorite Sports Jersey
Wednesday, 10/27: Wear a fun hat, or wear your hair differently
Thursday, 10/28: Wear comfy clothing or pajamas
Friday, 10/29: Dress as your favorite book character

Guidelines for Returning to School Following an Illness
The school nurse and health department want to remind anyone who is returning to school after a sickness that you must provide a negative COVID test result, or an alternative diagnosis, such as a note from you doctor, or you must serve a full quarantine.
This rule is regardless of vaccination status. Please contact the school nurse with questions.
Rochester Children's Book Festival
The Rochester Children's Book Festival is a free virtual event on Saturday, November 6th, from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. Two sessions will run each hour, including author panel discussions, illustrator drawing demos, read alouds, and sing-alongs. There will something for all ages! The inclusive, all-female environment of a Girl Scout troop creates a safe space where girls can try new things and be themselves while developing leadership skills. Manor School Kickball Returns
Manor School Kickball is back! Tuesdays from 3:05-3:55 beginning November 2. Open to students in Grades 3-5. This is not your ordinary kickball game. With different rules that require advanced game play, strategy, problem solving, quick mental thinking & calculated risk taking. Slots are limited. HF-L Youth Lacrosse Offers Indoor Winter Training
HFL Youth Lacrosse is offering indoor winter training for ALL interested HF-L students. Training is on Thursday nights, starting November 4th, for boys and girls in grades K-6 from 7pm-8pm and grades 7-12 from 8pm-9pm at The Athletic Campus on Brighton-Henrietta Town Line Road.
