IMPORTANT SURVEY FOR OUR CATHOLIC CHURCH. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO ENTER THE SURVEY. THANK YOU!
A word from the Principal
October is already here and with it comes cooler weather. While I was outside on supervision this last week I have noticed that many children had forgotten to wear warm jackets as the days got progressively colder. Since they are spending all their recesses and physical education classes outside, it's important to ensure that they are wearing appropriate clothing for the weather and this should include a winter jacket, gloves and even a hat on many days. Thank you for sending these items with your children this week.
This past week was an exciting one as our new park opened and our Loose Parts Play initiative was launched. The kids were so excited to partake in all these new activities. It sure has been wonderful to see them display so much excitement and enthusiasm. Ask them to share with you what they enjoyed the most!
On a side note, do not despair! The work on our parking lot is moving along and we are hopeful that it will be completed by the end of the week. :) We thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout this process.
Please take a few moments to mark on your calendars the important dates listed below. This Wednesday is Early Dismissal and you do not want to miss School Pictures Day which is this Thursday, October 3rd!
Have a blessed week,
Mme Lafrance

This Wednesday is Pajamas Day!
Looming for ' Les ceintures fléchées'.
For those of you with children in Pre-K, Kindergarten, new to our school community or your child has lost their belt, we wish to invite you to create a Ceinture Fléchée (loomed belt), a tradition that our school has been honouring since 2002.
All you have to do is weave your child’s belt, which will become a wonderful memento of their years at ÉPK. Aside from great fellowship, it is an opportunity to learn a fun skill that will be shown to you. You can come once and loom a belt to take home for your child or you can come many times and help us build up the stock for February, when the children wear their belt at Carnaval. Each belt takes about 1.5 hours to make.
We have booked the library Friday mornings from 9-11am (and one Wednesday afternoon) to help you Loom! We have dates scheduled until November 1, so please sign up soon using the link below for a day that works best for you. We are limited to 8 spots per looming session.
Thank you.
