Orchestra Trip and Ooka Fundraiser
In July of 2020, members of the CB West, East, & South High School Orchestras will embark on a Study Abroad trip to the Stirling Bridge International Arts Festival. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Ooka Doylestown. They have designed a Scottish-inspired sushi roll for us, called the Symphony Roll. It will be on their menu for the month of October, and they are generously donating 100% of its profits to us! This money will be used to lower the cost of those going on the Scotland Trip.
On Tuesday, 10/1, we will host a trip kick-off dinner at Ooka Doylestown from 5:00-9:00 PM. We invite you to join us for dinner that evening. A world-renowned Scottish bagpiper will welcome you, there will be auction items available, HS student string quartets serenading you, and the Symphony Roll will be premiered. If you can’t join us for dine-in, take-out is also available. Please consider ordering our roll at this event and/or throughout the month of October. Thank you in advance for your support of our students!
Good News About CB West Students
CB West AP Art Students Create Live Paintings and Displayed Art at the Doylestown Arts Festival!
Artwork from Art One and Two students was exhibited in the CB Cares booth on State Street. Students applied a string art painting technique which was a lot of fun! AP artists made a banner that read “Peace, Love & Art” and created paintings in the booth! Thank you to Julia Cullen, Sarah Gery, Emma Haring, Emma Meglio, Valentine Modestine, Chloe Mordan and Ben Mullikin for painting beautiful masterpieces in the streets of Doylestown. We are so proud of all our artists!
A huge thank you to CB Cares for allowing us to partner with and benefit from this opportunity to showcase the talent of our art students at this prestigious event.
