What Is Competitive Dancing? ?
Competitive dance is a popular widespread activity in which competitors perform dances in any of several permitted dance styles like ballet, jazz and, lyrical, before a panel of judges. Dance is a series of movements that matches the speed and rhythm of a piece of music. Some people believe that competitive dance is not a sport, but really, its just another way to say football.
Dance is a sport because the definition of a sport is, "an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes agents another or others."
- Dance uses physical exertion,
- it takes skill,
- and we all compete.
Dance is also a sport because dance has much athletic ability's as other sports.
- If you have ever played football you would find that the work out is similar,
- If you do cheer your will find that dancers also lift each other,
- And if you do/have done, gymnastics you would find that it takes massive flexibility too.
