Conscious Discipline - The Safe Place at Home Webinar
Conscious Discipline is a social and emotional learning program that we have implemented district wide at the elementary schools this year. One key component we are implementing in our classrooms is the Safe Place. This is a place for students to go when they are having an moment of upset to help regulate their emotions. Friendship Parties
Group A: Tuesday, February 9thGroup B: Friday, February 12th
Classroom teachers have sent out a sign-up for party supplies and treats. Remember food and drink items need to be be individually packaged.
Although we would love to have family members at the parties, we will not be allowing any guests in the building.
Please send any party items with students to school or drop them off at the office by 12:00 on party day.
Parent/Teacher Conferences, February 18th
Since spring conferences are only being held on one evening, a conference for every student will not be required. Teachers will be reaching out to parents to schedule a conference by February 5th. If you do not receive a request from your teacher by the 5th, and you would like to have a conference, feel free to reach out to your child's teacher to schedule a time.
February PTO Spirit Night @ McAlister's, February 23
Our next spirit night is on Tuesday, February 23rd at McAlister's in Edmond from 5:00-10:00 pm! WR will receive 20% of all sales during that time when customers mention the school.
