Hamilton County Fair - UPDATE #1

REMINDER: PRE-FAIR ENTRIES ARE DUE ON FRIDAY, JULY 10 BY MIDNIGHT.

To register for the Hamilton County Fair, click HERE to enter ALL of your exhibits you hope to bring! You can also scan the QR code to take you to the website to register.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

-With all the County Fair changes, this is your first update with 2-3 more coming.


- T-shirts will need to be picked up at the Extension Office between July 20-24, along with entry tags for static exhibits and backtags for livestock exhibitors.

*LIVESTOCK UPDATES*

Animal Details

- There will be no overnight stalling of animals. On a limited basis, you may be able to use the pens with no bedding provided. Stay tuned for more updates on this and wash rack use.


There are new limits on how many animals you can bring for 4-H. (Limit is per exhibitor)

~ BEEF- 3 animals

~DAIRY GOATS- 2 animals

~MEAT GOATS- 3 animals

~SHEEP- 3 animals

~SWINE- 2 animals

~POULTRY- 3 animals

~RABBITS- 3 animals

~CATS- 2 animals

~LLAMAS- 1 entry per class

~COMPANION ANIMALS- 1 per class

~DOGS- as stated in the Fairbook

SHOW DETAILS

- All exhibitors will need an armband to access the barn areas and the show arena. Exhibitors will receive 4 total armbands. (1 for exhibitor + 3 for spectators)

- Bring your own chair to the shows. *bleachers may not be available


- Animal shows will be staggered through the week. If you have a morning weigh-in/check-in, you need to be present by 8 AM. Look below at the calendar for show dates/times.

Clothing Day/Fashion Show

- Clothing and Sewing Projects will be brought to the Farr Building on Monday, July 27, 2020. Times will be announced later.


- Fashion Show Models will go to the Ag Auditorium on Monday, July 27 at their scheduled time based on their pre-fair entry.

Static Information

- Static exhibit drop off will be in the Farr Building.

- All static exhibits need to be dropped off Monday, July 27, or Tuesday, July 28. Foods, vegetables, plants, and flowers will come on Wednesday, July 29. Specific times to be announced later.
