A note from the principal's desk...
As we prepare to start our second week of school, I wanted to draw your attention to a couple of sections below that: The Positivity Project and Social Contract Sections. These are two things that we will be focusing on throughout the school year. These two things will not only provide a framework for how we (students, staff, etc.) treat each other within the building, but also a way for us to better understand one another. And, if we all had a little better understanding of other peoples perspective, wouldn't this world be just a little bit better place to be?
A couple of notes about drop off in the morning:
- If you are running late and your child will arrive at school after 7:45am, please bring them to the main entrance of the building so that we can write them a pass.
- If you are dropping your student off on the back side of the building in the morning, DO NOT drive past the baseball dug out! PLEASE drop them in the cafeteria parking lot. Busses need all of the space on the north side of our lot for drop off and transportation to other buildings.
Please reach out if you have any questions!
Have a great weekend!
Yours in Rocket Pride,
Scott

Drop Off/Pick-Up Area
- Students need to be dropped off in the Getty Street Parking Lot.
- Students need to exit the vehicle on the passenger side ONLY when the car is located near a side walk.
- DO NOT drop your student off and ask them to walk in front of another car. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS.
The start and end of the day are likely going to be congested and some people may be less than patient. Please treat each other with grace, patience and understanding. If we all do this, OUR KIDS will remain safe and see a great example of how to react during stressful times.
Drop Off/Pick-Up Area Video
I copied this video out of last year's newsletter only because my beard has quite a bit more gray in it now. Same information for this year!
