2023-2024 Enrollment Opens April 10th

Enrollment for 2023-2024 school year opens Monday, April 10th.


Enrollment forms can be found in the office, on the SDUSD Website, or on Doyle's Website.


Reminder: In addition to all required enrollment forms in the enrollment packet, you will also need the following to ensure your enrollment is complete.

  1. Student Birth certificate or Passport
  2. Vaccination record with all immunizations current
  3. Proof of residence such as a lease agreement, mortgage statement, SDGE bill, water bill or cable bill with your name and address listed

Spring Book Fair, April 10-13

Book Fair is next week! Our book fair will be open to classes to shop Monday through Thursday next week. We will have Family shopping Tuesday 1:45-2:45, Wednesday 5-7pm, and Thursday 1:45-2:45pm.

Summer School Applications Close April 14

If you haven't already, make sure you submit your student summer school application. The last day applications will be accepted is April 14th.


The front office will not accept applications after this date.


Reminder - all students currently enrolled in school are eligible to attend summer school at your location of preference.

Doyle International Festival Planning Meeting

Interested in helping plan Doyle's annual International Festival scheduled for June 9th?

Open House 4/27/23

We will have our Open House on Thursday, April 27th at 5:30 - 6:30 pm.


Parents are welcome to come any time during the hour. If you have multiple students, feel free to hop from class to class!


There will also be an art exhibit in room B6. Doyle PTA has funded an extra art classes for all grade levels this school year and our wonderful art teacher has setup a showcase of some of their creations so far this year.

Chromebook Care

We are seeing an increase in damaged and broken computers. Sometimes, the issues are internal and not caused intentionally, other times there is noticeable damage that has caused the Chromebook to stop working. We kindly ask that you remind your students of proper Chromebook Care.


Facts for Parents 22/23 p.21 section J : Students are expected to be the sole user of their account/ device, take proper care of the device, and bring it fully charged to school each day. Students are expected to follow digital citizenship practices and use the device for educational purposes. If problems arise with the device, students need to report those issues to their school site immediately. A fine may be assessed when a device is intentionally damaged, damaged due to willful negligence, or not returned when requested by school official. The principal my charge $100 for the device and $15 for charger.

PTA 23-24

The Doyle PTA is urgently looking for a President for the next school year! Without a President, we will no longer be in good standing, and will not be able to have a PTA and all it provides to Doyle.

PTA Volunteers Needed

Believe it or not, planning for next school year in the Doyle PTA starts now. Many things we do, we start planning before the school year even starts! We are looking for volunteers that can continue to give our children the best elementary experiences! The more volunteers we have, the more we can do & the easier it will be! Please consider giving some of your time.

2022 - 2023 Yearbooks

The Doyle Yearbook is on sale through May 8th! We will not be able to accept any orders after May 8th. Please go to doylepta.org and click the order your yearbook button. Yearbooks will be $20 for softcover, $26 for hardcover. We do not plan to order extra. All books will be delivered to classrooms the week of June 5th. All books must be picked up before the last day of school. The school nor the PTA will be responsible for books not picked up.


Please note: the store at doylepta.org has a known issue the vendor is working on. If you get a "server is busy '' error, please try Crtl+F5 (Command+Shift+R on a Mac) for a Hard Refresh. Often, even when it says the "server is busy" the item is added to the cart anyway, so please look at your cart. Once the item is in your cart, you can check out.

Save the Date : EdUCate! Taste of the Triangle

We are pleased to announce EdUCate’s 2023 Taste of the Triangle will be held on Friday, May 12th, 7-10p at Farmer & The Seahorse, an indoor and outdoor event. Come enjoy tastes from local restaurants, music, beer, wine, cocktails, exclusive auction items and more. General admission tickets are $85 per person before 4/30, $100 per person afterwards. If you would like to donate a ticket for staff/teacher, their ticket price is $75.
