Mental Health Tip for the Month
A hobby is the best way to spend your spare time and unwind from our daily routines.
Research has shown that people with hobbies rarely suffer from stress, depression and low mood and so it is vital for our mental health that we find activities that will get us out, make us feel happier and more relaxed.
Whether your hobby is creative, academic, athletic or something personal, the important thing is that you find it meaningful and enjoyable. Be sure that there is always a hobby out there for you, and so here is a list of few hobbies that are great for your mental health.

Mindfulness Challenge of the Month
Showcase your Hobby/ies!!!!
Lets show off what your hobby or hobbies are!!!
From now until March 26th find a way to showcase what you enjoy most! Going along with the mental health tip of the month the counselors want YOU to spend time doing what you enjoy most!
Either through an example (like if you are creating things) or through a picture (for sports, or animals, ect.) find a way to show the counselors what it is you do as your hobby! You can either bring it to the counselors or you can email Mrs. Rubio your picture. These will be displayed so other students can find inspiration in what their peers do for hobbies.
5 students who turn in their hobby showcase will have their name drawn to receive a treat for participating this month!!!
