Spring Break and Travel Order

Spring Break: Saturday March 27, 2021 - Sunday April 4, 2021

Travel Reminder --UPDATED --

We want to remind families who are planning to return in-person of CPS' policy on travel. If you travel internationally or to a state with widespread COVID transmission as indicated in the Chicago Emergency Travel Order (which has been revised with states such as Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan no longer requiring a quarantine) you are required to quarantine for 10 days or the parent needs to provide a negative COVID test within 72 hours of returning. We appreciate every family's commitment to these guidelines to keep our learning community safe.

IMPORTANT: P-EBT updates

Please see the linked information from the Illinois Department of Human Services on P-EBT benefits. All CPS students are eligible.

A P-EBT change of address should be made using the Illinois Department of Human Services P-EBT Change of Address Form. Should families have questions regarding the P-EBT benefits and issuances, review the P-EBT Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). They can also contact our Healthy CPS Hotline at 773-553-KIDS (5437) or complete a Healthy CPS Assistance Request Form.

Hello Everyone,

This past few weeks our nation experienced more tragedy with the shootings in Atlanta and Colorado. While much from these events is still unknown, the pain is still very real. As adults, we are still trying to comprehend and understand what happened. Our children may be asking questions about these events too. These tragedies are so hard for everyone and talking to your children may be challenging, even though it is necessary. Here are some resources you can use to help have these difficult conversations with your children:
