St. Patrick Catholic School
Principal's Weekly Newsletter
January 5, 2022
In November the Director of Lighthouse and Quality Initiatives from FranklinCovey came to St. Patrick Catholic School to review what we have been doing with the Leader In Me. The purpose of the visit was to determine if the school would be recertified as a Leader in Me Lighthouse School.
Students gave tours and were interviewed on topics ranging from jobs to leadership notebooks. A group of teachers from the school’s Leader In Me Action Team were also interviewed. The review team was also provided with a portfolio in advance of the visit. The portfolio included artifacts to show what the school has been doing the past two years since our last recertification. We are happy and proud to announce that St. Patrick Catholic School has been recertified as a Lighthouse School! This is a great accomplishment and honor that our staff and students should be proud of achieving.
We were first recognized as a Lighthouse School in 2018 and are proud to have been the ninth school and first Catholic school in the state to reach this milestone. Our work developing leadership skills is the perfect complement to our focus on faith and innovative academic programming.
Please tell your friends about all the great things going on at St. Patrick and Clover Patch Preschool. Word of mouth is our best way to spread the good news. Be sure to let them know they are invited to the Admissions Open Houses at both buildings on Friday, January 13.
Reminder: No school on Jan. 16 (MLK Day). It's listed as a potential snow make up day but we don't need one as of now.
