Staff Spotlight- Gabby Bray
Hi! My name is Gabby Bray and I am the Instructional Coordinator for Mosaica Online who oversees English Language Arts, Social Studies, World Languages and Paragon Humanities. I have been in education for sixteen years as a social studies teacher and administrator. Eleven of my years in education have been with various online organizations and charter schools. I am married and we have three children - William (10), Marshall (9) and Emily (5). I have taken up running in the last year and it has become an obsession! I ran my first half-marathon this past February and I am now registered for several more. In January, I will be running the Tinker Bell Half-Marathon in Anaheim. Then in February, I will complete the Disney Glass Slipper Challenge in Orlando - a 10K on Saturday and a Half-Marathon on Sunday. So, I am training a lot right now! :) I am thrilled to be working with Mosaica Online and I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
Thank you Gabby! You are an amazing addition to Mosaica Online!

TEACHER TIP OF THE WEEK!
Remember that you will be calling your students prior to the first day of class. When you call, be sure to introduce yourself and explain which course you will be teaching. Remind the students of the first day of class (8/14 for 20 week students and 9/3 for 18 week students) and remind them that they will need to login daily to their courses. Some of these students are new to online so be sure and be very encouraging and give them your contact information in case they have any questions.

Teacher: Millie, please give me a sentence starting with i.
Millie: I is...
Teacher: No, Millie. Always say "I am..."
