A MESSAGE FROM MR. COLE
Good Afternoon Pine Road Families,
It has been a fantastic first month here at Pine Road, and I am happy to say that for the first time in years, we are back to normal business! It has been wonderful watching our teachers and students return to the instruction and classroom routines that make Pine Road truly special!
I would like to remind all families that the period between September 15th and October 15th marks National Hispanic Heritage month. Please visit our Pine Road Community Connector page to view some valuable resources in recognition of this important month. This page is updated monthly to recognize various groups over the course of the year!
I look forward to seeing our 2nd and 3rd-grade parents this evening at the last of our Back to School nights!
Sincerely,
Scott Cole
Principal

Cafeteria Reminder
Lunch menus are posted on a new interactive website, Nutrislice. Our innovative and interactive site and mobile app make our school menus more convenient and informative than ever before! Download the Nutrislice App from the App Store or get it on Google Play and search Lower Moreland.
Friendly reminder that the universal free lunch has ended, however starting October 1st free breakfast will be returning! Students that would like a free breakfast in the morning will walk straight to the cafeteria upon arrival. Students can eat breakfast in the cafeteria and granola bars, muffins, and cereal bars are also available if your student would like to save their breakfast for snack time.
Information on the Free or Reduced Lunch Prices can be found on the nutrition page on our LMTSD website.
Car Line Protocol
- Adults should not exit vehicles. We have staff that is fully prepared to assist students safely entering and exiting vehicles.
- Unless directed by school staff, please do not pass other cars in the car-line. This can create dangerous situations.
- While waiting on Pine Road to enter the loop, please ensure you are not blocking our side streets. Many of our buses utilize these side streets. Please also pull as far over as safely possible.
- Please have your car-line name tag clearly displayed. If you need a tag, please ask Mr. Radway as he is checking you in, and we can ensure you receive one.
- Please note that the walker line is reserved for families that walk from home to school and back. Please do not park and come to the walker line to pick up students.
