Words of the Week!
*The Word of the Day for Monday, April 5th was INTEND. To intend is to have in mind as a purpose or a goal. It could be used to describe what someone plans to do or accomplish. We hope all of our students come to school each day and intend to do their best!
*The Word of the Day for Tuesday, April 6th was WIDTH. In math, the width is the measurement of the distance of a side of an object. Usually this is the shorter side while the length is the longer side.
*The Word of the Day for Thursday, April 8th was CLEVER. To be clever is having a bright, sharp, and quick mind. It could be used as another word for intelligent. It could be used to describe someone having a quick inventive mind, showing intelligence, wit, or imagination.
*The Word of the Day for Friday, April 9th was RIGHT ANGLE. When two straight lines intersect each other at 90˚ or are perpendicular to each other at the intersection, they form the right angle. A right angle is represented by a symbol that looks like an upper-case L.
