Longbranch Library Media Center
December is such a short month, but jam packed with learning in the library. We read The Library Gingerbread Man and practiced our compare and contrast skills with all the other Gingerbread Titles Kinder and First have been reading. We also read this book with the other grades to help remind us of how the library is organized for ease of browsing if you like certain subjects. To go along with third grades' Christmas around the World, we read a Ukranian tale about The Christmas Spider Miracle. In Kinder and First Grade, we also read The Chrismas Cobwebs by Odds Bodkin and talked about traditions and even worked on some predicting.
