First-Ever Argyle ISD Family Day at Rangers Game!

Be sure to mark your calendars for Sunday, Aug. 29 for the first-ever Argyle ISD Family Day at the Rangers game. Discounted tickets will be available and include a special Argyle Eagles-Rangers ballcap with the purchase of a ticket. The first 1,000 tickets purchased receive the special hat. Argyle ISD will be highlighted on the video screen before the game and the Argyle High School Choir will be featured.


For orders of 10 or more tickets, contact Jamie Roberts at jroberts@texasrangers.com. The game starts at 1:35 p.m. and the Rangers face the Houston Astros.

Q&A: Learn More About Argyle ISD's Debt Management

Argyle ISD is releasing a series of informational messages to help provide more clarity to the state of the district financially and the future as it relates to enrollment growth and capital needs. The second of four Question-and-Answer communications from Argyle ISD will help provide more information for taxpayers regarding the district’s management of debt.

The district has a rapidly growing tax base that has the capacity to absorb additional debt. Since the fiscal year 2012, the district’s net taxable assessed valuation has grown from $997 million to $2.469 billion, representing a 10.1% average annual growth rate. Since the fiscal year 2017, the average annual growth rate has been 15.6%.

How to Access STAAR Scores

All STAAR scores and Spring EOC are now available in Family Access. Please reference the following information regarding the release and availability dates of STAAR scores per grade level:

  • High School Grades 9-12: STAAR Spring EOC scores are available in Family Access
  • 5th & 8th Grades: STAAR Math and Reading are available in Family Access
  • All other grades/subjects: STAAR scores are available in Family Access

Welcome, New Eagle Morgan Griffard!

Argyle ISD welcomes new team member Morgan Griffard! She is the district's new Benefits & Leave Specialist in the Human Resources Department. Griffard joins Argyle ISD after serving in Frisco ISD.

She will be the district's contact for employees as she manages benefits, medical insurance and other employee-related areas.

Former Eagle Featured In 12 Mighty Orphans!

Here's a can't miss movie recommendation for the Eagle community this summer...go see the 12 Mighty Orphans. The movie stars Argyle High School graduate Slade Monroe.


The 2019 graduate plays the Masonic Home quarterback named "Wheatie" in the movie which recently opened nationwide. The movie is based on the true story and book written about the Fort Worth orphanage - Masonic Home Mighty Mites - during the Great Depression. (Photo credit: Slade Monroe/IMDB)

Important Athletic Physicals Information for Eagles

For the 2021-2022 school year, the UIL has returned to the normal requirement of all athletes, grades 7-12, needing an updated pre-participation physical (PPE). Physicals will need to be completed and on file with the Athletic Training staff prior to AUG. 2, 2021 for students participating in a sport starting prior to the first day of school. All other athletes will need to have their physical on file prior to the first day of school.


High school athletes will need to turn in physicals to the Athletic Training staff

(Aaron Fowler, Edward Vega, Caitlyn Hamm).

Middle School athletes will need to turn physicals into the MS coordinators

(Coach Wallis, Coach Ramsey).

Eagle Kindergarten Registration for 2021-2022

Argyle ISD is now conducting Kindergarten Registration for the 2021-2022 school year. We can't wait to welcome our new kindergarten Eagles in the fall!


The registration process will be done online and families can click on the campus link below for Argyle West Elementary or Hilltop Elementary. If you know of a kindergarten parent coming into the district please help us in sharing this information.

Argyle Earns State Runner-Up Finish at 7-on-7 Competition

Congratulations to the Argyle Eagles' 7-on-7 team that finished as a state runner-up in College Station recently.

The Eagles finished second in pool play and defeated Whitney (38-8), Wimberly (25-14), China Spring (14-12) and Midlothian Heritage (20-7) in bracket play to reach the Division II Championship. Argyle fell in a close title game 20-13 to Kaufman.

Former Eagle Great Aiming to Make Cowboys Roster

Former Argyle star Nick Ralston is vying for a spot on the Dallas Cowboys as the team enters training camp later this month. Ralston, a fullback, signed as an undrafted free agent from Louisiana. He was recently featured on DallasCowboys.com.

The inaugural Northlake Neighbors 10K/5K/1 Mile Run/Walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 2 in the Pecan Square neighborhood, located at 2701 N. Market Square in Northlake. All proceeds benefit the North Texas Food Bank.
