Importance of "I Love You Rituals"
Sometimes it can be hard finding ways to connect as a family and these rituals are a great way to strengthen relationships and have a positive impact on daily disciple at home.
I use some of these at home and our favorite is "Round and Round the Garden" and my son enjoys reciting the rhyme and tickling my hand as well. Our favorite time to do our rituals is around nap and bedtime.
Which ritual was your favorite?
Broken Heart Alphabet Hunt
All you need to do is cut out hearts from colored construction paper and cut the heart in half in a broken pattern. On each side of the heart match upper and lowercase letters, shapes, or number with corresponding dots. More details for this activity in the link above.
To make the activity a little extra special hide the pieces in colorful shredded paper or even dyed rice. There are so many possibilities!
