Our La Joya ISD ACE Program’s vision is to provide a safe, meaningful and recreational after school environment where students will achieve educational excellence.

Mission

The La Joya ISD ACE Program believes that all ACE students should have the opportunity to develop academic, social, and career readiness skills that will prepare them for the 21st century. By integrating the use of technology through a variety of innovative academic and enrichment activities, students will reach and excel their full potential and become productive leaders of our community.

Wednesday -Kulinary Kids, Sports World, Mini Jewelettes, STEM Arts, Musical Theatre

Thursday - Folklorico, Tech Kids, Media Production

Friday - Mini Jewelettes, Musical Theatre, Sports World

- Beginning October 2019, there will be no bus transportation on Fridays.

- Dia de los Muertos Presentation- Nov.1 for Mini Jewelettes & Folklorico students

- Muscial Theatre Club- Students must stay Monday, Wednesday & Friday to learn script, dance steps and songs.

-Student attendance rate is below 97%

-Campus data shows that students are not achieving a passing level on the STAAR test

-50% or more of students are at risk.

-Increase Parental Involvement

-Behavior issues in the classroom

Goals

-Maintain attendance rate by providing innovative activities that will engage students.

-Increase Academic Performance by assisting with homework help and targeting priority skills during tutoring assistance for language arts, science, and math.

-Parent Involvement will increase by working cooperatively with campus parent liaison to promote student events/ activities that require parent and family members to participate.

-Decreased behavior problems in the classroom by allowing students to participate in activities of interest to them.
