Junior Meetings and Scheduling
Scheduling season is upon us! We are preparing to meet with all of our juniors for their annual individual meetings beginning the first week of February. All juniors were given a chance in January to update their Career Cruising assessment to assist in planning for their future with their school counselor. If you would like to explore this further with your child please have them login below!
Sophomores-CV-TEC Career Day Field Trip
Thursday, March 5th, we will be taking sophomores interested in attending CV-TEC next fall to the annual CV-TEC Career Day. Students will be able to attend three different programs. This event will take place from 8:30-11:00am. Field trip permission forms are attached below as well as student admission forms. Please review and complete all documents. Your child must bring them back to the counseling office by Monday, February 24th. If you are unable to view or print the documents, we have hard copies available in the counseling office.
College 101
On Wednesday, March 25th, juniors will have the opportunity to attend College 101 at Clinton Community College. This field trip will have an admissions panel, a student panel, and a college fair with two-year and four-year colleges as well as state and private universities. This is a great chance to learn more about the college admissions process from admissions counselors as well as a chance to network with prospective colleges your child might be interested in attending.
Clinton County Youth Court Training
If your child is interested in applying to become a member of the Clinton County Youth Court Program, please have them complete the application below and return it to the Youth Bureau. Youth Court is a free program that provides a unique opportunity to serve as a member of a court for youth who have committed real offenses in our community. Membership requires that you attend training on both the 18th and 19th of February and pass an exam. Applications are also available in the counseling office and must be submitted by February 3rd. Enrollment is limited.
