Great First Week!

Thank you all for such a great first week! We appreciate all of your school supply donations, your patience at arrival and dismissal times, and of course having your children ready to do their best at school. It's going to be a great year!

Thank you PTO!

Our students and staff are so fortunate to have such an organized and kind PTO! Teachers were welcomed back to school with breakfast and other special treats and our students arrived to school on their first day seeing beautiful inspirational chalk messages. Thank you so much PTO!

Upcoming PTO Events:

8/17 7:00 Miracles Baseball Game

Arrival and Dismissal Car Lines

In the morning, it will take some time to move the morning line more quickly. In the meantime, students will not be counted tardy until after the morning car line has ended.

Please be patient as we are still working out our dismissal procedures. It takes time for our kindergarten and new students and their parents to get used to the routine. It is important to arrive after 3:15. This will enable the middle school dismissal to finish. In the back car line, we will continue to use two lanes, not three.

In the afternoon, we will only be dismissing students to parents in cars. We will not dismiss students to parents who walk up. For safety and efficiency, it is important that everyone follows the same procedure. Thank you for understanding.

Beginning of the Year Student Assemblies

This week, we had grade level assemblies to discuss our new PAWS expectations, behavior and academic incentives. We also had to discuss with all grade levels new safety procedures and terminology for future safety drills. The new procedures incorporate guidelines from the ALICE protocol. It is unfortunate that students are exposed to this at such a young age. When you bring your children to our school you are putting your trust into our hands. Our role and promise is to keep each and every child as safe as possible. All of these topics and more, will be discussed with our families at Curriculum Night.

Curriculum Nights Coming Soon!

Each grade level will be having a Curriculum Night for each grade level. The purpose of this event is for our families to better understand the curriculum focus, behavior expectations and positive recognitions for each grade level. Dates and times are below. See you then!
