Showstopper
The cast and crew of Moana Jr. were superb last weekend, and we appreciated the packed houses to show support for our incredible performers. Take a bow!
The Best Bar-None
During National Teacher Appreciation Week we celebrated the best teachers bar-none with as many treats as possible - including a paint & sip (just juice!) bar!
Francophonie Day
Ms. Lemoine and a few French students helped celebrate Francophonie Day earlier by treating students to French pastries and treats at their own homemade store front!

iReady End-of-Year Diagnostics May 11 and 12
The two end-of-year iReady assessments are an opportunity for us to measure student growth for the year. We use iReady data for course placements, summer school considerations for students performing 2 years below grade level, and for our school's academic goals. For students whose end-of-year tests show expected growth, we're treating them to Kona Ice on May 16th. Thanks for helping us to support students in doing their best!
Student Device Return May 19
Students will return their school-issued laptop and charger on May 19th*. If you need to pay for a lost or damaged item, please contact Mrs. Gunter in the media center.
(*Students registered for summer school will keep their school-issued device)
Supply Wars for Solidarity Sandy Springs
Our grade levels are battling it out all to help fill Solidarity Sandy Springs' Back Packs for students in the fall. Donate full boxes of pencils, packs of paper, or packs of 3x5 index cards.
We Take Gently Used Uniforms!
If you're doing spring closet cleaning, our front office will gladly take your gently used RCMS logo t-shirts or plain polos as well as khaki pants and shorts. We need youth and adult sizes. We use these uniforms to help students who spill, rip their clothes, or don't have a uniform.
212 Degree Award Winners for May
To celebrate the IB traits our staff exemplify and to highlight those who have gone the 1 extra degree, we give monthly 212 Degree Awards. It is built on the premise that at 211 degrees water doesn't boil. With just one extra degree, it boils. We're thankful for 5 staff members each month who will be highlighted for giving that 1 extra degree to our school.
