First week is (almost) in the books!
All testing pools were negative this week, which is great news. We will not be reporting the results of COVID pools, moving forward, but will be contacting families if their student is in a positive pool. As always, public health and central office are keeping a close eye on the pool numbers and will advise us on any changes they necessitate.
Let's make it a great year!

Athletics Update - From Mr. Murphy
After a very trying last year, with shortened schedules and many inconsistencies,
Watertown Fall Athletics are off to a great start. We are very excited to offer sports in their
historically played seasons with complete practice and game schedules. The coaches and
student-athletes have been working extremely hard at practices to prepare for the upcoming
season. We have seen their hard work pay off already in the first week of gameplay!
We want to specifically recognize the hard work of Jae Smith, Joie Mara, and Eric Trant, who prepared the student-athletes during the summer to compete this fall. We truly appreciate all of their hard work and could not do it without them.
Please also remember that it is not too late to join a fall sports team. We look forward to seeing you at a game soon. Go Raiders!

Mandatory covid testing
Our pooled COVID testing began on Wednesday, September 15th, before school, and will continue to take place weekly, on Mondays. Please plan accordingly and encourage your student to arrive early to prevent them from being tardy to first period. All students/families must fill out a consent to be tested. If your student has been tested in school before, no action is necessary in terms of consent (please do NOT fill out the form). If your student has never been tested in school, please fill out a consent to test, here, and tell the testing staff member that consent has been filled out online (which they will confirm).
