The Me of Today!
My name is Harman Thiara and I am 15 years old, currently living in Brampton, Ontario. I was born in Mississauga, Ontario on January the 14th 2000 and my zodiac sign is Capricorn. I like to think of myself as a motivated person because whenever I do something, I put my everything into it or else I feel as though I have wasted my time. I am both an introvert and an extrovert. Some days, especially during the winters I prefer to stay in, drink hot chocolate and watch my favourite movies and TV shows or even read some of my favourite books. Other days, especially in the summers, I prefer to go out with friends or family and enjoy the beautiful outdoors, either that be by playing some sports or just having a fun picnic.

June 26th 2014
This was the end to my middle school life and the start to my high school life. Graduation night was fun and memorable I spent it with the people that mattered most to me which included my parents and my close friends.
Favourite Movie
My favourite movie is the dark knight rises because it had some very surprising turn of events that were completely unexpected and this movie had a very strong and valuable moral to it which is to never give up and this moral comes from the scenes of Bruce struggling to make his way out of the well-like structure, failing several times but never giving up.
Favourite TV Show
My favourite TV show is Jane the virgin. This TV show has taught me many things but one of the most important lessons I have learned is that life is full of obstacles but we have to learn to overcome these obstacles and learn to not let these obstacles hold us down, instead we should come back stronger.
Favourite Singer
My favourite singer is Bruno Mars. Bruno Mars is an extremely talented singer with many amazing songs, Bruno's songs tend to have lyrics that are very meaningful which is one of the many things I really like about him.
Event Information
Elementary School
I went to Larkspur Public School from Junior Kindergarten all the way up to Grade 5. Larkspur was a fun and safe school. In kindergarten we had many fun activities including driving little cars in a cage and there were many, many trips. There was always a fun Friday every two weeks where we were allowed to buy pizza and have free chocolate milk. The school also had many fun after school events including book fares and one of my favourites which was the spring fling.

Top 5 Friendship Tips!
- Differences can be as practical as similarities. Always know that you don't always have to have a lot of similarities to be good friends with someone, often times people with the exact opposite qualities become excellent friends so don't let the differences make you think twice about a friendship.
- Cut off friendships that are one-sided, don't let yourself do all the "giving". If you feel as though you are the only one trying to keep your friendship alive or as if you are the one that listens to the problems of all your friends but when it comes to your very own problems no one listens, then know that the friendship is not worth it.
- Fix friendships that are one-sided, don't let yourself do all the "taking". Often times people tend to get so use to the idea of being given various gifts and presents that they get lazy and forget to do their own part in a relationship or friendship. Don't let yourself be that bad friend that only takes things and never gives or the friend that only talks about their own problems but wont lesson to the other persons problems.
- Friends of friends of friends. One of the best and easiest ways of making friends is getting to know your friends, friends. This not only helps make your circle of friends bigger but it can also bring you closer to your friends for having the same friends.
- Be honest. In order to maintain a fun and happy friendship always be honest. Honesty brings trust and once the trust is broken the relationship no longer remains the same.
Most Important person in my life!
The most important person in my life is my mom. My mom has always taught me to be brave, strong and honest. As a child I had always caused my mom a lot of trouble but through everything, good and bad, she always loved me the same. I love my mother because I know that no matter what the situation be I can always come to her for advice and no one knows me better than my mom. I know that I wouldn't be the person I am today without my mom.
My Future!
Even though I don't how things are going to turn out in the future I still know what I want my future to look like. As I get older I hope that I can successfully get a career in either sports medicine or sports psychology, these two fields have stood out the most to me ever since I have been researching about career options. As a child I have always enjoyed watching sports and I also played soccer for a couple years but becoming an athlete was never what I had wanted as a career and as I got older I became very interested in the way the human body works, especially with things such as injuries so when i learned that sports medicine and sports psychology were career options I was extremely delighted.
