Conroe High School Tiger Tracks
November 5, 2023
Hello Conroe Tiger Families,
With the Thanksgiving Break fast approaching, we want to make sure that our families know of the resources provided by the Montgomery County Food Bank. If you are in need of assistance, or if you would like to help families in need, then please utilize the following link to access their resources: Mobile Markets
As the weather turns cooler, this is a reminder that students can not wear blankets while in the building. Any blankets brought to school should be placed in backpacks. If we have students that do not have coats or jackets, they may utilize the Communities in Schools programs on campus to help supply students with clothing needs. Here are a few additional updates and reminders:
All students must wear their CISD Student ID to school everyday. Students forgetting their ID will need to purchase a temporary ID for $1.00. Students must have the student ID on in order to purchase lunch, ride CISD Transportation, attend games and school events. If your child needs a new Student ID, they need to stop by the Tiger Den.
There is no school for students on Tuesday, November 7th due to many of our CISD campuses being used as polling sites. Our Thanksgiving Break will be November 20th - 24th!
Salute to Our Veterans
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Conroe ISD’s Salute to Veterans on Nov 9, 2023 has been canceled. We look forward to hosting this event in 2024. In a continuing tribute to our veterans, Conroe ISD is collecting photos for the next section of the mural at Veterans Memorial Intermediate. Any member of the Conroe ISD Community may submit a photo using the link below for potential inclusion: https://forms.gle/sUvttCiScNikeXRN8
Please help our Conroe High School Clubs and Organizations by attending a CHS Spirit Fundraiser at a local restaurant! On Saturday, November 18th please join us at Pacific Yardhouse to support our Conroe Tiger Band. See more details below
Our number one priority is to keep our students safe at Conroe High School. Please parents, remind your children they are not allowed to leave campus for lunch. If your child walks to school, please remind them to use the cross- walk at a light. If your child is a car rider, please drop them off and pick them up in the car rider line, not HWY 105 or area businesses.
Just a reminder, we only allow deliveries from parents and family members. We can not accept food deliveries from food delivery companies such as Uber Eats, Grubhub, Doordash, etc. Please remind your student!
Automated Library Notifications
Conroe ISD Library Services enabled daily email notifications, so you are informed of the items checked out by your student. Daily emails will list the item(s) currently checked out. If the book(s) your student selected is not a good fit, please have your student return it to the campus library and choose a new title. If you have questions about the book(s), please contact the school librarian. Notifications for these daily messages can be managed in Parent Access Center (PAC). If you don’t have a PAC account, you will need to register for one to access the email settings. You can also view the item(s) your student checked out by logging in to Destiny Discover through your student's SSO account. You can further manage your student’s access to library materials by completing the Library Access Form found on the Library Services website along with viewing other helpful information. Please do not reply to this email as it comes from an unmonitored email account.

Important Information For Freshmen
CHS9 Car Riders:
If you bring your student to school by vehicle, then please remember that the traffic loop in front of the Ninth Grade Campus contains two lanes. Vehicles can utilize the inside lane (left lane) to help alleviate traffic. When our duty personnel see students getting out of the vehicle from the left lane, we will stop traffic in the right lane allowing your student to cross safely. Please remind your student to check traffic before getting out of the vehicle. Parents, please continue to drive slowly and safely in the student drop-off area. We appreciate your attention to safety and patience every day.
