Google Search with Usage Rights
It's important to give credit to the content you get off of the Internet. Google has now made it a lot easier to find copyright-friendly content to borrow. You used to have to go to the advanced search tool to get to the usage rights, but now the search tools menu is easily accessible.
Here's how to use it:
First enter a search term, then click on the 'search tools' button. Lastly you're going to want to click on the 'usage rights' drop down menu.
Drop Down Menu under Usage rights Options:
Not filtered by license, labeled for reuse, labeled for commercial reuse, labeled for reuse with modification, labeled for commercial reuse with modification.
See how easy this makes searching for copyright friendly images!
Other Cool features to the 'Search tools' button:
Usage Rights isn't the only useful feature in the 'Search tools' button! There are many other options to choose from. Also you can sort your images by size, color, type, and when they were posted (time). Thus, if you are looking for a red cupcake, and you searched "cupcake" you can sort by the color red.
