Words of Inspiration

“When we let fear be our master, we cannot be happy and free as a butterfly. But when we choose to trust the journey and embrace love and joy, we are free to fly.”
— Annicken R. Day

Correa's Corner

Hi Texan Families:

We are done with STAAR but still have 13 days left to have a successful school year and make a positive impact on your children. Please continue to help us out by encouraging your children to be good students. We want them to spend these next 13 days focusing on their learning, while still enjoying being a child. Their success is important to all of us, and now, more than ever, we need our parents to be positively involved in their children's lives because it truly takes a village to raise a child.

Letters will be going out soon to those students who are required to attend summer school. Students who failed 2-4 classes for the year will be required to go to summer school before moving on to the next grade level. Again, make sure you look at your child's grades as soon as possible, so you can make plans to be here, if needed. Summer School is scheduled for June 7-June 24, Monday through Friday, from 8:45 am-1:05 pm and will be here at Pat Neff.

On a positive note, please also check our Texan Events calendar on our website for end of year dates that include concerts, performances, academic awards, and our 8th grade Field Day.

Have a great weekend!

Take Care,

Mrs. Correa

Please make sure your children return their Chromebook devices (fully charged) and chargers as soon as possible. We are doing inventory right now, so students who don't return them will be required to pay for the missing device/charger.
