The Emerging Leaders Seminar begins this week. The Lunch and Learn for this week is cancelled but an exciting opportunity with Blackstone Launchpad is available. Multi-platform communications personality Quincy 'Q Deezy' Harris will join us Thursday for the Exploring Leadership Speaker Series.

The Blackstone Launchpad Philadelphia supports student entrepreneurship in the Greater Philadelphia region through a partnership between Philadelphia University, Temple University and the University City Science Center.

Exploring Leadership Speaker Series with Quincy "QDeezy" Harris
The Exploring Leadership Speaker Series features area leaders who truly live out the practices of exemplary leadership and offer inspiring leadership insights to our Temple community. The Office of Leadership Development partners with Dr. Tracey Weiss’ Strategic Communication 1112 course on the once-per-month series. Local communications speakers are brought into the classroom of 125-150 students to discuss a trend, topic, or experience pertaining to communications and leadership. The presentation is approximately 45 minutes, followed by a 10-15 minute Q & A.
Quincy “QDeezy” Harris, who has served as an on-air personality, actor, producer, host, and teacher for over fifteen years, and is considered to be a resilient voice of progressive urban media. Harris currently appears as a guest host on Fox-29 Philadelphia, hosts his own afternoon radio show on Hot 107.9 and teaches at Temple University. He is a Philly native and an advocate for education.
