Erpenbeck Enquirer
3/11/2020
From Your Principal, Mrs. Pass
I wanted to send you an update on Erpenbeck's plan regarding implementing the Non-Traditional Instructional days starting Monday, March 16th.
One thing that is important to remember is that these are not considered snow days. These are actual instructional days, just like the students were at school. However, the instruction is delivered in a non-traditional way. This means students are learning remotely (not at school) through digital tools or pre-arranged papers, packets and books given to the students.
Each grade level will be meeting tomorrow to finalize our plan for how we will approach and implement these days with regard to the ages and developmental levels of the children in each grade.
I understand this is a tough situation, as it is something we have not experienced before. Our staff will be finalizing our instructional plan for students tomorrow and sending it out to our parents as soon as possible. We all want what is best for our students!
At this time, all field trips, clubs and extra-curricular activities must be suspended until further notice.
I appreciate in advance your patience and understanding as we continue to work diligently with the state team, the district team and our team at Erpenbeck to ensure the students' needs are met as we navigate this situation together.
