Academic Probation: A student whose academic performance indicates serious deficiencies may be placed on academic probation. Students on academic probation will be placed on a four week improvement plan. At the end of the four weeks (January 10), the student’s academic progress will be assessed and a new plan will be developed if needed. Students whose average is a D or lower will not be allowed to participate in any sport or academic competition until the grade has improved to a passing grade of C.
Attendance: The school policy regarding excessive absence (40) days or the equivalent of 40 days including tardies, (three (3) tardies are considered a one-half day absence). can be cause for a student to be retained in the current grade for another year.
Hearts For Heat Bake Sale
All profits from this endeavor go directly to the purchase of oil for members of our parish. This year we were able to raise over $900 that will directly benefit our church family.
Thank you very much for your consideration and participation in such a worthwhile program.
St. Anna's Middle School
Winter Uniform now in effect. Make sure your child is dressed for the cold mornings. Hats,gloves/mittens suggested.
Socks For Santa - 175 items collected so far!
The third grade students have begun our annual 2 month service project in which we will be collecting new white cotton or thermal socks or cotton underwear to be distributed to homeless shelters, women’s shelters, and the elderly of our community.
We often don’t realize or simply forget that those in need have needs other than the need for food.
It is our hope that each student will participate by bringing a small package of socks or underwear each month ( November, and December) to be collected by third grade students. All donations will be given to Montachusett Home Care for distribution to residents who live in our school community area.
A small package of socks or underwear each month is a small price to pay for knowing that the elderly in our neighborhoods are going to be warm this winter.
Please consider helping those who are in need of socks or underwear for the cold winter ahead.

Fall Picture Retakes
We will be having our fall picture retakes on December 3rd. If you would like to have your child's photo redone or if they were absent this is the day to have this done.
Parent Teacher Conferences
It was very nice to see so many parents during our Parent teacher conferences. Keeping the lines of communication between parent and teacher is important in developing a healthy relationship with one another in making sure that we work together to help our students succeed. Should you need additional conference time, please contact your child's teacher.
Coaches will be contacting you shortly about practice times as we are working to complete the schedules this week. Games begin in December. Open Gym times and practice times are starting.
Thank you for your patience.
