Welcome Back to School

Dear LES families,

I'm so excited to begin a new school year. It was so wonderful seeing all of our returning students and meeting our new students.

We are anticipating another amazing year at our LES A+ School of Excellence!

Text Remind

Did you get a text from Mrs. Hopper this week? If not, you were dropped from the text remind.

Please sign up again. - You may get a notice that you are being removed from the group. Don't fret, you are only being moved over to a different class. We can only have 150 in a class, so we have created many classes to make sure everyone can be part of Text Remind.

Drop Off and Pick Up ~ Safety Reminders

It is very busy around school during drop off and pick up. It's critical that we all have a heighten sense of safety during these times.

Park only in designated parking spots. Do not double park or park in an area that is not intended for parking.

During morning drop off, no parking on Sagebrush near the baseball gate. This should be for drive by and drop off only.

Do not drop your child off on the opposite side of the road and have them cross the street without there being a designated crosswalk.

Obey all of the traffic signs and speeds around LES during school hours.

When you pick up your child near the gazebo, make eye contact with the teacher so they can high five or fist bump your child before they release them to you. Do not come into the center of the grass area where our teachers and students go to be released. This is not the time to conference with our teachers. They are busy making sure all of our students are safe and have made contact with their parent or guardian.

During curbside pick up, pull up as far as possible before stopping to pick up your child. We have staff that will make sure they come to your car when it is safe.

Together we can make this a safe experience for everyone.
