BECOME A CHAPTER/CLUB COORDINATOR
Ladies First Cycling Club
We are looking for persons interested in opening LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB/CHAPTERS in their communities/cities. The leader of each club will be called the Club/Chapter Coordinator. Coordinators should have a passion for helping others and carry out our mission statement: Improving lives through cycling.
A Coordinators role is to organize and lead rides along with ride Marshalls and volunteers. Here’s a few things you should know before applying to become a Club coordinator:
CHAPTER COORDINATOR PRE-REQUISITES
Should have a positive attitude towards all members
Can manage various personalities
Demonstrate good leadership capabilities and can oversee ride Marshalls
Be an active member of LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB
Be an active, consistent cyclist (preferred)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB to cyclists at every opportunity
Represent the Company, its Clubs and affiliates, in the most favorable way.
Manage the day-to-day management of the group on Facebook and other social platforms where required
Post all major announcements from One Love Cycling
Plan Cycling events (Rides, training clinics, socials, etc.)
Encourage participants to register as members
Recruits/Identify ride Marshalls and/or group ride leaders
Respond to all local media requests once approved by LADIES FIRST CYCLING Regional Coordinator
Identify and follow through with the Regional coordinator on all sponsorship opportunities
Actively participates and engages in member conversation via Facebook and other social platforms
Minimum Time commitment: 3 hours a week
HOW ARE CHAPTER COORDINATORS CHOSEN?
1. Interested members should complete our Chapter coordinator questionnaire
2. Selected candidates will complete a phone interview with their respective Regional Chapter coordinator.
3. Regional Chapter coordinator and Head office approve the selection.
4. Candidates are notified via email or in person
5. Regional Chapter coordinator begins training new Chapter coordinators.

1 Complimentary kit for each designated Ride Marshall (max of 3 to start and thereafter 1 additional Marshall kit per 50 sold kits)

MEMBERSHIP GUIDELINES
To ensure that our LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB group rides are as safe and enjoyable as possible, we have put together a series of guidelines to follow.
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE RIDING WITH THE ONE LOVE CYCLING CLUB:
1. The LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB is an international members club.
2. Our mission is to improve lives through cycling
3. Our motto is represented by the words: unity, respect, positivity
4. The club is an inclusive club of like-minded individuals, and members are encouraged to get to know each other both on and off the bike.
5. The LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB identity includes One Love typography and theLADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB logo. These shall not be replicated, copied or applied to any item physically or digitally without prior consent from Destination Training LLc (Parent Organization).
MEMBERSHIP
1. The LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB is a club for like-minded members who will treat all other members with the respect and courtesy they would extend to friends and family.
2. LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB members are encouraged to travel and meet members in other cities and countries, and welcome those from others.
3. A LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB coordinator based in each chapter, will support the activities of LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB members.
4.LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB members are encouraged to participate and create their own rides and invite other members to join them.
RIDING & RACING
1. LADIES FIRS CYCLING CLUB members will uphold good riding etiquette and camaraderie and abide by the LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB ride etiquette rules. Members will greet other riders on the road, wait for dropped riders, and help those in need.
2. The LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB is a road riding and racing club. However, track racing, mountain bike racing, cyclocross and triathlons can also be undertaken in Club colors.
3. Club rides and social spins will be a regular feature of club membership.
4. LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB members should never ride more than two abreast when riding in a group.
5. LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB riders are encouraged to race and enter other competitive cycling events.
KIT RULES
1. LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB members are encouraged to wear official LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB kit on all LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB rides, but are not obliged to do so. However, members of our racing teams must wear the official LADIES FIRST CYCLING Racing kit when racing for the club.
2. The wearing of helmets is mandatory on all LADIES FIRST CYCLING CLUB rides.
