Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
Teacher and Staff Appreciation week is next week! We are excited to celebrate and honor the service of our teachers and staff. We want to thank our friends at Summit Church and our fabulous PTO for helping us schedule an appreciative event each day of the weei.
Reminder to our families that we are hosting a luncheon for our teachers and staff on Tuesday, May 9 in front of our school. We will have a modified schedule on Tuesday that will provide a longer lunch so our staff can enjoy their lunch comfortably and with the company of their colleagues. School will still start and end at the same time.
We are dedicating May 11 as Thankful Thursday. As important members of our learning community we encourage you to take part and share a thankful message to a teacher or staff member who has had a positive impact on your student and family. Please use this form to participate in Teacher and Staff Appreciation week’s Thankful Thursday and we will deliver your message to its recipient on May 11.
Our 2022-23 Golden Apple winner Ms. Amber Brown was honored this week at the Honoring Excellence in Education Awards at West Hills High School. What makes the Golden Apple Award Special is that it is voted on by the student body. Ms. Brown is an amazing teacher and contributor to our community and I am proud of our student body for awarding such a deserving teacher.
Less than five weeks left in the 2022-23 school year!
Have a safe and awesome weekend!

Beach Volleyball
The 2023 season was one of rainouts and rescheduling but the ladies of Steele Canyon Beach Volleyball came through it winning a share of the league title and a playoff berth. Unfortunately the girls lost in the first round to Canyon Crest Academy but the girls played hard and kept the matches close. The program grew leaps and bounds this year having 30 plus girls come out and practice and compete. Coach Holland is looking forward to continuing to grow the program with next year brinning the added benefits of being a full sport at Steele Canyon.
