School News You Can Use - Mar. 3, 2023

Dear Walden Families,

National Reading Month festivities have kicked off at Walden School! We enjoyed reading under the stars today in our comfy PJs. Students have been looking all over the school for some hidden books, and we've been following the fun calendar of activities (see below). We are also working towards our goal of reading 4,000 books by the end of the month!

As a reminder, we have no school on Monday. Have a great weekend and we'll see you on Tuesday!

A Message to 5th Grade Families (2nd Posting)

As a 6th grader, your student will have a choice of which world language they would like to take at Caruso or Shepard. District 109 offers Spanish, French, Hebrew, and Mandarin. More information about all of the language options can be found here. You are invited to attend a Zoom meeting on March 7th from 7-7:30 PM so you can learn more about the courses. Following the meeting, all incoming 5th grade parents will receive a link to the presentation and link to select their stduent's world language preference. This will be due by April 6th. The Zoom link is below.
