GIRLS SOCCER

Girls Soccer beat Ritenour 2-1 on Tuesday. Goals were scored by Freshman, Alexis Boyer and Sophomore, Elena Moder! Nice Job Cougars!

AHS PRESENTS "MY FAIR LADY"

The Fine Arts Department has been working hard for the Spring Musical, My Fair Lady. They perform on Friday, April 29, at 7:30 and Saturday, April 30, at 7:30.


Eliza Doolittle is played by Elizabeth Boyd, Henry Higgens, Taylor Martin, Pickering - Connor Paulus, Freddy - Kenny Paulus, Mrs. Pearce - Ashley Taylor, and a dancing singing chorus.


The show is student-directed by Connor Brosnan and Brandon James. The producer is Abbie Dallman and the stage manager is Katelyn Busse. The tech crew has been working for three months to bring the show and Henry Higgens study alive in London!

ATHLETIC FEES FOR SPRING

All spring athletes that are participating in a sport have a $25 athletic fee in their tyler account. However, if they played a fall or winter sport, they will not be charged again.

All fines can be paid through the parent tyler account.

SPORT PHYSICALS: HEALTHY ROSTER FOR 2022-23

If you are participating in a sport in High School during the 2022-23 school year, MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association) requires that all sport physicals be dated February 1, 2022 or after.



The sports physical can be uploaded into their Healthy Roster Account. This is a program that AHS uses to hold all sports paperwork.


To get started with a Healthy Roster Account, please fill out the below google form. You will receive an invite from Healthy Roster to create an account. (please note: your invite will not come until Summer for 8th. grade students)


Documents needed after creating a Healthy Roster Account is:

(1) Sports Physical dated and signed by a Physician (this can uploaded to your account)

(2) Insurance Card (this can be uploaded to your account)

(3) Signature Page: This you can sign digitally after you haver read and agree to the code of conduct and consent to treat documents.

(4) Pre-Participation Documents: To be filled out by the student.

Work with excellent Junior and Senior mentors to conduct freshmen orientation the day before school starts. We use the LINK Crew curriculum. We also do team building exercises throughout the year that help the freshmen get acclimated and succeed in high school. Also promotes getting involved in at least one sport/club/activity while in high school.

The officers are elected and meet once a month to plan activities for the organization. TEAMS (Tests of Engineering Aptitude, Mathematics, and Science)

Middle and High School competition helping students discover their potential for engineering. Using math, science, and 21st. Century learning skills. Students work together to problem-solve real world challenges. Throughout the competition, students work collaboratively to solve original and innovative engineering scenarios focused on an annual theme. The test consists of both a collaborative multiple-choice section and an open-ended design competition with a common engineering-based theme. We take three teams of 8-9 students to Rolla (University of Missouri Science and Technology) for the full day competition each spring.
