Our Mission Statement
PRAYER
Prayer for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
O Virgin immaculate, thou who by a singular privilege of grace wast preserved from original sin, look in pity upon our separated brethren, who are nevertheless thy children, and call them back to the center of unity. Not a few of them, although separated from the Church, have kept a certain veneration for thee; and do thou, generous as thou art, reward them for it, by obtaining for them the grace of conversion.
Thou wast conqueror of the infernal serpent from the first instant of thy existence; renew even now, for it is now more necessary than ever before, thine ancient triumphs; glorify thy divine Son, bring back to Him the sheep that have strayed from the one fold and place them once more under the guidance of the universal Shepherd who holds the place of thy Son on earth; let it be thy glory, O Virgin who destroyest all heresies, to restore unity and peace once more to all the Christian people.
A Note from Mrs. Longden
Two weeks of school is almost complete! It is wonderful to see all of the amazing learning taking place in each and every classroom. The students are eager, engaged, and excited. Thank you, once again, for entrusting us to instill faith and inspire futures by nurturing each child's gifts with an education rooted in the gospel values and a culture of community, compassion, and love!
LIVE THE LITURGY
Inspiration For The Week
“Stand up straight and don’t slouch!” Many a child has
heard these words bellowed from their mother’s lips. We
need the perspective of others to help us understand when
we are not walking as straight as we could be. God sends us
the Holy Spirit to correct and guide us so that our paths
through life can be straight. Without this assistance, how
we see and understand ourselves and the world around us
is incomplete. We will also lack the virtue of fortitude. It
takes courage to listen to the Holy Spirit and devote
ourselves to the task of discipleship. We have to put aside
things that the world says are necessary and follow a path
placed before us by Jesus Christ. Jesus is asking us to
follow him. We must consider what we have to do to be
free enough to do so. God needs us to show the world a
complete picture of what life is meant to be, correct its
vision and tell it to stand up straight!
Blessings,
Mrs. Longden

We have decided to adjust the alternating Wednesday Mass days only. The Liturgy Day dress code is encouraged, but the option of wearing nice dresses, button up shirts, and patterned polo shirts is acceptable.
More variety of colors for polo’s will be added to the Liturgy Day Dress Code. Polo’s can be any color, as long as it is a solid color. Bottoms do not need to be just twill; they need to be dressy with no legging material or leggings worn, unless with a dress or skirt.

YMCA SHE Program
My name is Madelyn and I work for the Kettle Moraine YMCA! This year, I am coordinating an after-school program for middle school girls, called SHE (Strong Healthy Empowered). It is a FREE program open to both Y-members and non-members and it meets from 6-8pm once every other week between October-April (14 weeks total). Each week is focused on a different topic pertaining to physical, emotional, social, and mental health, and is led by two experienced Y-staff and professional guest speakers from Washington and Ozaukee Counties. Plus, all of our girls are able to get Red Cross Babysitter certified for free through this program (it's typically $100+ otherwise).
We have programs in West Bend, Slinger, Hartford, Kewaskum, Port Washington, and Cedarburg, with plenty of open spots! All of our programs are held at the local middle schools, with the exception of our West Bend location, which takes place at the West Washington YMCA. This program is a great way to learn more about topics pertaining to pre-teen life, build confidence, and make long-lasting friendships! We welcome students from public schools, private schools, and students who are homeschooled!
Our Kewaskum location in particular is open to girls in 5th-8th grade and is held at Kewaskum Middle every other Monday from 6-8pm, October-April.
Attached is the flyer and website to register if you are interested.
Holy Trinity Families Facebook Page
Attn: New Holy Trinity Families! We invite you to join us in the HTS Families Facebook Group. The goal of the group is to share information, update the community on events and programs, and showcase the achievements of students, teachers, parents, and other community members. It also provides a platform where Holy Trinity School families can share, ask questions, and build community. This will be the space where teachers will post photos of children at school events. You will see more of what is going on in the school community in this group than the main Holy Trinity Facebook page alone. We know that HTS families are driven by Christian values and handle themselves with kindness and respect. Let's use this venue as a great opportunity for sharing, communicating and continuing to build and strengthen our school community. Please use this link to join: www.facebook.com/groups/HTSfamilies Sincerely, Your Home & School and Advancement Committees.

We are looking forward to having a fun-filled season full of learning and success. Please encourage your child to give it a try.
Please email Nick Kern at athleticdirector@htschool.net if your child will be joining, or if you have any questions.

Safe Environment Education Training
Promise to Protect, Pledge to Heal
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee is committed to maintaining safe environments for children to learn, pray, and grow. Our Safe Environment Office supports our parishes and schools and maintains the compliance of our archdiocese in our Promise to Protect, Pledge to Heal.
Every priest, deacon, parish or school staff member, teacher and lay minister that is employed by a parish or school and any volunteer working with minors in our archdiocese is required to meet three requirements:
1-Attend a Safe Environment Education Session. This is a child abuse and maltreatment prevention program that must be attended in person. The current curriculum taught in this session is Circle of Care by the Archdiocese of Omaha.
2-Pass a Criminal Background Check. This check is done at the start of employment or beginning volunteering with minors and must be done every five (5) years subsequently. The criminal background check is conducted through the CMG Connect portal. The criminal background check reports are reviewed and certified through the collaboration of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Safe Environment Office and parish/school Safe Environment coordinators.
3-Sign the Code of Ethical Standards for Church Leaders Link to Code of Ethical Standards. This code of conduct provides volunteers and employees with expectations and guidelines for how they interact with and conduct themselves in ministry. This code must be signed prior to beginning volunteering or working in a parish or school and is reviewed every five (5) years subsequently.
As Catholics, we are all tasked with participating in ensuring that every child is able to feel safe in our parishes and schools. In addition to our safe environment requirements for adults, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee requires all parish religious education programs and Catholic schools to provide instruction on personal safety and abuse prevention in age-appropriate lessons for all children in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade enrolled in their programs. Parishes and schools are required to annually report their compliance with this requirement.
We invite you to explore what we are doing at the archdiocesan level, at the parish level, and what we ask of every adult in our parishes to do to help us maintain a Safe Environment to remember our past, protect our present and hope for our future.
