PIONEER CAMPUS INFORMATION....
QES Pioneer Campus Notes
Greetings QES Pioneer Families!
A big thanks to our wonderful PCO for sponsoring a field day on Friday, June 11. Ms. Lausen and friends had an extremely well organized event complete with 6 engaging and enjoyable stations. The students and staff are incredibly thankful for those event on our last day of school. We appreciate all of their support throughout the year! Despite all the pandemic challenges, you rocked it PCO! Thanks so much.
Ms. Hollister and Ms. Molsee are excited to be planning and organizing for next year. Ms. Hollister will be the principal of both schools, and Ms. Molsee will be the assistant principal. They will be splitting their time between the two schools, with the goal of having one administrator on each campus the majority of the time. Both Ms. Hollister and Ms. Molsee are incredible, outstanding, caring educators, and compliment the caring and committed QES Pioneer team supporting your children. Quincy Elementary students will be in excellent hands with the outstanding educators supporting your children at the Pioneer and Alder campuses.
Students, please continue to practice your reading at least 20 minutes each day. Check out the local library and see how many books you can read each week. Turn off the electronic devices and exercise your brain through reading each day. The more you practice, the better you get, and the more you will enjoy reading! Also, keep those bodies active with lots of outdoor play and exercise. Take care of yourselves, and show your parents all of your healthy habits.
In closing, I appreciate your ongoing support and partnership to provide the best possible elementary educational experience for our students in this unique and challenging school year. It has been a pleasure getting to know so many outstanding students and families this year. QES has an awesome staff, and QES is a great place for students. Thank you for the opportunity to support your child’s education.
Enjoy your summer!

Hello Alder Families:
Happy final Friday of the 2021 school year!
It was a great Spirit Week! A big thanks to Sarah Lausen and PCO for supplying us with games and ice cream treats. Thanks also to the parents who came to help run stations for today's Olympic Day - Benny and Sue Ann Johnson, Sarah Ritchie, Juan Nunez, Shaundell Wingfield, Angela Hauner, Kyla Sabo, Christina Caires, Meghan Daun, and Marv Hilpert.
Congratulations to the class of 2027 who have moved on to QJSHS. We will miss you and wish you all the best. We look forward to witnessing your accomplishments in High School and Beyond. And congratulations on your big kickball win against the staff!
Third grade captured the Cougar Cup the final week in the Color Wars competition! Way to go third grade.
Make sure to keep reading this summer! The public library will be giving away a free book each day in the month of June.
Students who deserve mention for having read more than a million words this school year are:
Connor Sable, Jake Huynh, Brooke Blesse, Kyler Senter, Brayden Beatty, Quincy Peterson, and Aaron Irwin. Great job! Reading for pleasure is the greatest predictor of success in school and beyond. Find a good book this summer (or two or three) and enjoy!
Enjoy your summer everyone. The first day of school is August 23.
