Technology News
From County Tech Dept-If a teacher is just now trying to add standards to his/her itslearning course, not all of them are available. A few weeks ago, they were ALL missing, but we have been working with itslearning to resolve the issue. As standards are being added back, teachers (and you) are receiving notifications about new standards being available. They are not new, just returning. Ignore the notifications.
Midway's First Family Connect Night
Midway Elementary will have their very first Family Connect Night on Tuesday, February 25th. There will be No homework and No Studying assigned this evening! We hope students and their families’ use our Family Connect Nights as a time to reconnect with one another. We encourage you to set aside technology on these evenings and enjoy some fun family time together. Please share pictures of your family playing games, etc by using the hashtag #MidwayReads and #OneMidway
Safety Bird Enrique
A friendly reminder with our fire drill this week to please:
*Pause before going into hallway until you hear me say the announcement to "evacuate the building."
*Please close your classroom doors when leaving for the fire drill. By doing this it shows that your room has been cleared and no student or staff remain in your classroom.
Moments of Mustang Might
Each week we want to highlight staff members who demonstrate the 7 Habits qualities.
When people make an impact on you, please share the moment so we can celebrate each other. Email Jennifer Lundstrum, Sarah LeBlanc, or Admin by Thursday at lunch time each week to highlight our teammates.
