Message from Mrs. Webster
February is here and spring is right around the corner! In the next few months students and staff will be gearing up for the fabulous Harloe Talent Show, State Testing, Student Field Trips, and much more!
Our fabulous PE teacher, Mrs. Clarin (who we share with Grover Heights) was recognized in the Employee Spotlight for LMUSD. We would like to congratulate her and echo the accolades that she was given! We feel very fortunate to have her as our PE teacher at Harloe.

Every Day Matters
We care about each one of our students, and when they are in school each day, we know they are healthy, safe, and learning. However, when students are not in school, they are missing out on learning and more! Chronic absenteeism impacts all students - no matter what age.
DID YOU KNOW?
- Students should miss no more than 9 days of school each year to stay engaged, successful and on track to graduation.
- By 6th grade, absenteeism is one of three signs that a student may drop out of high school.
- By 9th grade, attendance is a better predictor of graduation rates than 8th grade test scores.
- Missing 10%, or 2 days a month, over the course of the school year, can affect a student's academic success.
