Sergio & Isaiah
In paragraph three line 1 the author states, "The Tuskegee Airmen became one of the elite units in the U.S. military." This tells me that they shouldn't have judge him because he was African American he was part of one of the elite pilots. So people shouldn't have judge him because Herbert Carter was apart of this elite pilots.
Second Textual Evidence:
In paragraph four line two the author states, "The Tuskegee Airmen played a key role in the Allies' victory in WWII." This tells me that Herbert Carter and the other airmen were a key part of the US winning the war. So people shouldn't have judge him because he played a key part on the US winning.
