Foster Family E-Blast
March 23rd to March 27th
From Mr. Ramsey
First, I want to thank all of those who have sent wonderful messages of kindness and support. We are all facing a difficult time, we are stuck inside, not able to work, and possibly not able to visit extended family and friends. Please know that you are all on my mind and I am missing our Foster community terribly. As I search for the right words and ways to support our Foster community, I look to one of Pittsburgh's greatest teachers-Mr. Fred Rodgers: "Look for the Helpers."
The helpers are everywhere in our lives, not only doctors, police, and firefighters but your teachers, parents, and even your principal. The Mt. Lebanon School District leadership team as also amazing helpers who have been working tirelessly to navigate the ever-changing circumstances that have been brought upon us. Every decision and plan has been made with our students and families in mind. All around us people are helping, please remind your children of this-we will always be here.
It is very important to me to stay connected with my school family throughout this difficult time. Please do not hesitate to email me about anything you need. I will always be available to assist throughout this closure with any school-related questions or concerns you may have. Please read on to see a new segment Mrs. Campos created for a family activity a day. I hope you will enjoy these daily activities to add some fun to an otherwise difficult time.
Thank you again for all your support, we will get through this difficult time with each other's support. It is my greatest joy to be the principal of Foster School which fuels me to continue to provide the best education possible for each and every student!

We Need Your Help!
WE NEED YOUR HELP!! This is a message for those that continue to gather in organized groups at our HS stadium and other school grounds: We do not have the capacity to monitor our school grounds as our essential staff are busy doing important work around our buildings. Nor would we ever ask the MLPD to assist with monitoring group sizes on our grounds - they have much more important work to do.
Please heed the guidelines from the ACHD: “The most important thing you can do to help stop the spread is to stay at home and practice social distancing. What the community is doing today has an impact next week and the week after that so please stay on target. Stay home and continue social distancing. If you are sick, stay at home. Remain separated from others so as not to further spread any virus or disease.”
Thank you for your help with this matter. We are all in this together and we are depending on each other to do their part.
