A Celebration in Time
At Crossroads Academy High School & DAEP, a big part of what we do is beyond the curriculum. We focus on the social and emotional well being of our students through genuine excitement, caring, and love. That is a big challenge for our team during this time of virtual learning, but the Crossroads & DAEP professionals are stepping up to that challenge each day. Following the lead of Dr. Harrell, our school board, and district leadership, we are pushing to set the best example possible of what is possible during this interruption to traditional learning due to Covid-19. It is great to note that since the start of virtual learning, Crossroads has had six students complete graduation requirements. While social distancing has put a slight damper on our graduation celebrations for those students, their achievement is no less powerful. These students are now ready to begin the next chapter of their lives as high school graduates. That is awesome! Our team would like to remind students, parents, and their families that everyone of us is here and eager to keep students progressing. We care about you, and cannot wait to see you all again. In the meantime, let's continue striving.
