Anonymous Groups

What are they?
Anonymous groups are much more than just sitting in a circle and discussing what's wrong. Everyone assumes that the people who go and attend these groups just grieve about what all went wrong due to substance abuse. The thing is, anonymous groups are able to do so much more than just grieve.
Alcoholics Anonymous
This is a group of people overcoming their abuse of alcohol. A group of individuals come together to talk about their struggles and what actions they tend to take to get out of their alcohol obsession.
SA Group
This group helps people who have brain disorders due to substance abuse. They realize their recovery and the steps they need to take to shatter their stigma. With the help of other people who are going through the same struggle of a brain disorder the SA Group can get the help somebody needs.
Ala-Teen
Young people with a problem related to alcohol come to share their own experiences. Some currently live with a problem drinker while some have the drinking problem themselves. Teens share their feelings and encourage each other during meetings.
