Happy New Year!
Hi everyone!
What an amazing Year 2014 was. It was both exhausting and invigorating! I have never been more busy in my career than in 2014. I heard the same from almost every teacher I talked to as well. I also have never been more invigorated by what I am seeing and hearing. Everyday we get more support for what we do. it is in the news, in our schools, everywhere. Just last week Thursday a study was released that showed that lack of exercise was responsible for twice as many deaths as obesity, see below.
I was in a meeting last week with a regional superintendent. who was excited about a brain break she saw in an elementary classroom. That would not have happened five years ago.
We have a lot of hope, we also have a lot of things to keep fighting for. Keep up the good work and have a wonderful new year. And speaking of Hope, when I wrote this, it was Saturday the 17th. We were hopeful for a Packer win, unfortunately, it didn't work out that way. But I will still end with, Go Pack!
Sincerely,
Brett Fuller
