History
Carrie Underwood was born on March 10,1983 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Growing up she always loved anything to do with music but put that aside to get a degree in broadcast journalism. Her senior year at Northeastern State University was the year everything changed. She audition for a popular competition TV show called American Idol and won! Carrie Underwood at the age of 26 became the youngest member of Grand Ole Opry. Throughout her career, she released many singles and albums including her hit albums Carnival Ride and Play On. Her first single , " Inside your Heaven " raised to the top of the Billboard charts. Her song "Jesus Take The Wheel" also reached the top of country charts. She soon won many awards including Country Music Association awards, Academy of Country Music awards and multiple Grammy awards. She became one of the most popular female country artists.
