On A Hymnsong Of Philip Bliss
By Vanessa Tobias
The Hymnsong of Philip Bliss is a very peaceful, like a meadow of beautiful flowers swaying with the wind, a child getting sung to sleep, and even couples dancing. I like how it goes from being a soft calm song to a loud and forceful song then back to a peaceful song towards the end. The change reminds me of a beautiful day breaking into a violent storm, someone celebrating a lifelong goal.
